Housing Stocks £3.3 trillion Value
Private housing stock's value triples in a decade

A report by the Halifax has valued the total private housing stock at £3.3 trillion, representing a national tripling of value over the last ten years.
Over the same period, inflation worked out at just 28%.
All regions of the UK saw average prices at least double, with Northern Ireland showing the strongest growth.
Halifax, the country's largest mortgage lender, maintains a monthly house price index detailing average prices across the country.
