Figures from Nationwide Building Society suggest a new rise in house prices

Nationwide Building Society's latest figures show house prices 'rebound' in April, with a 0.9% increase compared to a 0.6% fall in March.

Annual price inflation is still slowing down, with the annual rise at 7.0% compared to March's 7.9%, but the report said the long term trend was broadly flat, noting that some level of price volatility was normal in spring .
