Thousands Demonstrate Over Pensions
Demonstrators marched through Central London to protest at the growing pensions crisis

Thousands of workers yesterday marched through central London to protest over the growing problem of pensioner poverty.
The march, organised by the TUC, called for government action to raise the living standards of the retired.
TUC representatives criticised occupational and private pensions for 'corruption and mismanagement', and insisted that the only way to provide for old people was a 'decent state pension as a right'.
