A survey of financial advisers shows 48% think Britons have 'no idea' how much to save for their pension

A survey of independent financial advisers shows that 48% think that Britons have 'no idea' how much they should be putting into pension funds.
47% said that people were unrealistically optimistic about their living standards in retirement, and 40% that the country was still much too reliant on state pension provision.
Only 5% thought their clients had a reasonable idea of the pension provision they'd need, estimating that £250-500,000 would be a good figure to aim for.
