Sainsbury's Announces Baby Bonds

Sainsbury's Bank teams up with Family Investments to provide Child Trust Fund accounts

The banking arm of the supermarket group Sainsbury's has announced that it is to offer accounts under the 'baby bond' scheme due for launch next year.

The accounts, operated in conjunction with Family Investments, will coincide with the roll-out of the Child Trust Fund scheme, with vouchers worth between £250 and £500 being sent out by the government for every child born after September 2002.
