Medical Treatment Top of Claim List
A report by Sainsbury's Bank estimates number of claims for different claim categories, medical treatment coming out on top

A report by Sainsbury's Bank has estimated that 241,000 travel insurance claims will be made in 2005 over medical treatment costs, the most 'popular' reason for making a claim.
That's just under twice the number of the next most common claim reason, cancellation, which will account for around 127,000 claims.
Other reasons in the top 10 included stolen money, baggage or documents (68,000), with damage to personal possessions prompting another 25,000 claims.
Sainsbury's have urged travellers to ensure that their cover is adequate for the trip they are making, and say that their travel insurance offers comprehensive cover at competitive premiums.
