Businesses have particular insurance needs over and above the standard insuring of assets and inventory, as any company that deals with the public or has employees needs to have liability insurance to protect the company in case of accident or injury etc.

Businesses with fleets of company cars can also get specialised car insurance, and commercial vehicle insurance policies will generally have a higher level of cover for the contents of the vehicle (i.e. goods) than a personal policy.
