Savings Stamps to Return
The Post Office is to reintroduce savings stamps after a gap of 40 years
17th August 2004
Royal Mail has announced the relaunch of savings stamps to help people budget for large bills more easily.
The stamps, each available for £5, can be bought at any Post Office branch and can be used to pay for any Post Office service such as paying bills.
While the stamps do not earn any interest, they are being touted as a good way to spread the cost of bills, especially for people working to a weekly budget who do not have access to a bank account.
