Millions Suffer 'PIN Blindness'

Research shows people have more PINs and passwords than they can remember

13th May 2005

New research suggests that people are buckling under the weight of PINs and passwords, with the average UK adult having to remember 2 PINs and 8 usernames or passwords.

Over three quarters of people have different PINs for each of their cards, and 1 in 7 people have stopped using one or more of their cards since the introduction of Chip and PIN, as they can't keep track of their separate PINs.
