UK : More credit cards than people
Number of active credit card accounts outstrips total UK population according to report

A report from Datamonitor shows that in 2003, Britain had more credit cards than people, with 67 million cards in use.
Britons accounted for over half of the 121 million credit cards in use across Europe, and the UK is second only to the USA in terms of market development.
The report also predicts that card use will continue to rise, with an estimated 93 million credit cards being active by 2008.
