Life of Balance Cards
Life of Balance credit cards offer a different type of balance transfer offer than the more traditional 0% balance transfer deal - instead of offering an interest free introductory period of 6 to 12 months, they feature a permanently low rate that lasts until the balance has been fully cleared.
While you're unlikely to find a 0% for life deal, as this wont make the card issuer a profit, the rates you can get can be attractively low - often less than 5%.
This makes these cards a good option for those with a large credit card debt that is currently being serviced at a full standard rate, as transferring to a 'for life' card means that your monthly repayments can be smaller, or alternatively you can keep the same repayment level and clear your debt faster.
