Capital One Platinum Card
0% Balance Transfers
The new-look Capital One Platinum Card features a decent balance transfer offer of 0% until 1st October 2009 although it also unfortunately has a balance transfer fee of 2%, with no upper limit to the amount charged.
As well as the balance transfer offer, there's an introductory offer on purchases of 0% until 1st October 2009 which isn't particularly generous when compared to the 12 month periods offered on quite a few competing cards.
The standard rate is a middle-of-the road 15.9% typical APR (variable).
There's no annual fee, credit limits of up to £25,000 are available, and you'll be protected by a 100% Internet Fraud Guarantee - you won't be liable for any spending on your card that happens without your knowledge or consent.
