Balance Transfer Cards
Many credit cards offer a deal on balance transfers, whether it's 0% for a limited period or a low rate for life.
If you have a large balance on another card, you could save a decent amount of cash by transferring the balance to a new card with a balance transfer deal.
One point to bear in mind is that more and more cards are now charging a balance transfer fee of up to 2.5% of the amount you transfer.
Many cards will limit the fee to a maximum of £50 or so, but not all, so make sure you check the small print before you apply.
