Yes Car Credit Closes
The bad credit car loans provider has shut for new business
15th December 2005
Over 800 people have been made redundant as the bad credit car finance provider Yes Car Credit announced they were shutting down for new business.
The owners of the company, Provident Financial, said that the business was no longer viable, and that talks with potential buyers had collapsed, leaving them no option but to shut its nationwide network of showrooms.
However, the parent company will continue to collect outstanding loan repayments, worth an estimated £240m, and customers of Yes are advised to carry on making repayments as normal. All warranties etc will be honoured, Provident say, and the comapny has set up a helpline for Yes Car Credit customers with queries: 0870 2400 596
