Savers Ignorant of Rates

A survey shows almost two thirds of savers don't know what rate they're earning

A survey by The AA shows that almost two thirds of savers could not say what interest rate their investment was earning.

What's more, over three-quarters of those questioned didn't know that AER stood for annual earnings rate, and more than half couldn't work out how much £100 would earn in a year given an AER of 3%.
