Lloyds TSB announce a new 'no strings attached' regular saver account paying 8%

Lloyds TSB have announced a new regular savings account paying an attention grabbing rate of 8%.
Deposits of between £25 and £250 a month can be made over a period of 2 years, with no penalties for accessing your money at any time.
Savers can also 'kick start' their accounts with an initial deposit of £750.
Lloyds say that a customer depositing the maximum amount over the 2 year period would earn £594.68 interest on savings of £6,500, bringing the total to £7,094.68.
The account is available only to holders of a Lloyds current account, whether existing or new customers.
