Bank Customers Want Personal Touch
Survey reveals customers infuriated by call centres

UK bank customers are becoming increasingly alienated by modern banking practices according to the British Lifestyles report by survey company Mintel.
The report, which details consumers attitudes to a variety of industries, found that more than half of adults have been 'infuriated' by call centres and automated telephone systems.
Further, 40% chose where to bank based on having a local branch nearby, which would seem to be a rejection of direct and online banking by a sizeable minority of customers.
