Password and PIN Overload
A report by online bank Egg suggests that Britons are becoming more forgetful - and passwords and PINs are to blame
20th May 2004
A new report by Egg, the online bank and credit card company, suggests that Britons are becoming more forgetful. 41% of people admit to becoming more forgetful in recent years, and nearly a quarter of those blame this on the amount of passwords and PIN numbers they need to remember.
Around a third of people forget at least one of their passcodes every month.
Conveniently, Egg operate an online service called the Egg Money Manager, where you can securely access all your online accounts from one place, without having to remember all the individual passwords.
Egg Money Manager comes as standard for customers of Egg, including credit card holders and those who have taken out loans or savings accounts.
