Internet Bankers Feel In Control of Finances

Research by Alliance and Leicester shows people who bank online feel more in control of their finances

New research by released by banking group Alliance and Leicester suggests that people who conduct most of their banking online feel more in control of their finances, with nearly half of regular internet bankers feeling fully in control.

The survey revealed that of those who do most of their banking online, over a third checked their balance at least once a day, and 44% checking at least twice a week.

In contrast, only 3% of people visit their branch would do so that often.

Online banking has been dramatically growing in popularity over recent years, with a rise of 63% since 2003 resulting in a UK online banking population of voer 14 million.
