HSBC Buys Household International

HSBC bank has agreed to buy Household International for £19bn

Banking group HSBC has added Household International to its portfolio in a deal worth around £9bn.

Household International, which operates under the HFC brand in the UK, has 50m customers in the UK and North America, mainly in the credit card, loans and credit insurance markets.
