100 New Branches for Halifax
100 new bank branches will create 1500 jobs

Halifax have announced the opening of 100 branches across the south of England over the next 5 years, resulting in the creation of around 1500 jobs.
Halifax, part of the HBOS banking group, say that around half of the branches will be in towns with little or no Halifax presence, with the other half being expanded and relocated existing branches.
The expansion of the bank's high street network is part of a 'multi channel' strategy, which will also see continued investment in online and telephone banking services.
