Unsecured Loans
It is much more difficult to find unsecured loans if you have bad credit. Sites such as ADM Personal Loans take unsecured loan applications from both tenants and homeowners, but you are more likely to be accepted if you are a homeowner - and the interest rate offered will probably be lower too.
Other loan providers who will consider unsecured applications include Capital One (homeowners only), and Loans for Tenants.
Car Loans
If you're having difficulty getting an unsecured loan for a new car, you will almost certainly be accepted for a 'car + finance' package from a national network. Under these deals, you choose a car from an approved dealer, and the finance will be provided as part of the package - your loan is effectively secured on your car. Deals like this offer over 95% approval rates.

Adverse Mortgages
If you have poor credit, then High Street mortgages are unlikely to be available to you. If you're self employed and can't prove your income, you will have difficulty too. Thankfully, specialist mortgages for these circumstances are available.

Summary
