Payplan are one of the UK's leading free debt advice agencies, also offering free debt management programs.
If you owe more than £10,000 to 2 or more companies, and have a regular income, you can sign up for an IVA (Individual Voluntary Arrangement) which will mean you can agree to repay some of your debt over a period of 5 years. After this time, any remaining debt will be written off.
This arrangement is legally binding, and so long as you stick to the agreed plan, you won't be forced into bankruptcy.
