Debt Collection Getting More Difficult

The Credit Services Association says its members are finding it harder to collect debts

The Credit Services Association, the national body for UK debt recovery agencies, has said that its members are finding it more and more difficult to collect debts from consumers, as they 'struggle' with their levels of debt.

Levels of both personal and commercial debt collection are rising, suggesting that the economy may not be as robust as many believe.

The debt collection industry is worth an estimated £5bn annually in the UK.
