No-Frills Current Accounts Available to All
A revision to the banking code will make no-frills current accounts available to all customers

From March 2005, it should be possible for everyone to have access to a basic no-frills current account, regardless of their credit rating.
This is one of the recommendations of a review of the Banking Code, the voluntary code of standards for the banking industry.
The review, conducted by Professor Kempson of Bristol University, was welcomed as 'sensible, practical and appropriate' by the British Bankers' Association.
